Virgin Media offers fast broadband services in the UK, but outages occur more frequently than expected, especially during peak hours. Their customer support can also take time to resolve technical issues. While the speeds are great, reliability could be improved. still, they are the best option :)

Safe site for a fantastic british ISP and TV provider, etc.. Great internet, Tivo is amazing, but WOT isn't really about that. So, it's safe. The website is safe, free of viruses, and just a good site to be on if you're a virgin media fan or something. Sent from a Macbook connected to a Virgin Media smart hub. There are hardly any downtimes on the wifi tbh.

This is the official site for Virgin Media the leading Internet Service Provider in the UK. If Virgin Media is in your area you can't get anything any better. Their mobile contracts are pretty decent and are a lot better than the likes of O2. The TV packages though are expensive does come with a lot of channels but like all TV service providers they put some of the most wanted channels in the higher packages. The only complaint I will have is that I have been with Virgin Media for as long as I have had an interest in the Internet and the service has always worked wonderfully. But when I moved house more recently to a house that was slightly off the main road they wouldn't lay a cable to the house and then took me to court to pay for the remaining 8 months of the contract that I was not getting a service from them for.. I didn't want to go to court so just paid the damn bill and now have to live with BT ADSL -_-

When their fibre optic broadband is actually working, I always hit the quoted speed and often above. Notice I say 'when'. I've had Virgin Media 30Mb fibre optic broadband for just over a year now and over the past 7/8 months, the connection has become less and less stable. It cuts out 4-5 times a week for several hours at a time. When I call 'customer service' I'm told it's an area fault that will take 24-48 hours to fix! Now, this is on an almost daily basis. I was always told by the companies that fibre is a modern, robust service. How can it keep dropping out like that? It's actually wore than dial up. I've cancelled my contract with them now and have only 30 days left with this shoddy 'company'. Personally, I can't wait to get back to an old fashioned ADSL copper line. I'll be more than happy with 8Mbps connection because I know it will be there when I need it, not when Virgin Media fancies it.

Virginmedia do have a few problems which I hope will be sorted now that Branson has sold it off. my bone of contention is traffic management if you pay for a service you expect to get that service 24/7. I have been given a good deal by virgin once they knew I was leaving them because of a few minor issues. since my Free upgraded to the 30 meg service from the 10meg. I find that there are still certain times of the day when everything will slow to a crawl. you would think that fibre optic should do away with this problem that the old copper seemed to suffer from. but I think that virgin just cannot supply the demand over the fibre service as much as they want. the need more bandwidth to cope with demand and fibre to the house would be a nice feature as well.

With Virgin a few yrs ago, it kept cutting our lines and the broadband was as slow as a slug.

Extremely bad, extremely slow "superfast broadband" service with several extra options of unreliable services. One of the worst possible ISPs.

I have to say, I have had quite a bit of really bad customer experience. They promise super-fast speeds of up to 8MBPS. I didn't get it, and it took about 5 hours for me to sort it out with customer services, which are terrible.
