Is webmail.opentransfer.com Safe?

The domain is owned by Ecommerse, Inc. It is a an email account service provider. It is the mail server used by Ixwebhosting. Ixwebhosting is a web hosting company. Customers with accounts can create email accounts associated with their domains. As with any email account provider, a user can use their account inappropriately... perhaps to send spam or malicious links. Being a commercial smtp service provider is inherently a reputation risk. I have recieved unsolicited email from users of this service, but I have also seen spam from yahoo, aol, etc. Ixwebhostingy will respond to abuse reports. I am not affiliated with ixwebhosting, but I have used their hosting service for several years for volunteer organization websites and email accounts. The service is good and the customer service is excellent.

I have to be honest - there are some really bad spammers out there, but to list the entire ixwebhosting mail servers domain as bad...... - Unacceptable! I have 3 websites hosted with ixwebhosting and all 3 sites follow a strict SPAM policy with a public privacy page. Please dont tar us with the same brush....
