Why MYWOT deleted my comment only God knows, so I will post it again, in order to warm others! So here we go: August 2012: I was searching for info on Google and I accidentally clicked on a link that seemed safe and the domain and the website name is ***** . It was not marked on Google as "This site may harm your computer". It was not marked like that. So I assumed it was safe, as usual. When I went there I realized it was not the right info for me and Windows Defender popped-up a screen that said something malicious some kind of problem has been found attacking my PC and so I clicked on "Remove All". Then my PC froze and something was being loaded or downloaded into my computer. The browser tag said "Russian Dating...". I tried to leave and close the browser, but everything was frozen, so realizing something potentially harmful is being transferred to my computer I pressed and held the power button until my PC shut down. This is what I do when I get a "shake-screen" on a porn site and it works fine, although the browser (FF) usually does not get rid of the problem from the first reboot and I have to power off and shut down my PC a second time and then the selection allows me to the malicious website in the restore option. OK, so after a reboot, or rather during it my computer at startup said the following: Checking file system on C:. The type of file system is NTFS. Note that this is a black screen showing with white text; like Dos. "One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency. You may cancel the disk check, but it is strongly recommended that you continue." Please NOTE that there was NO description or option to STOP the CHKDSK! So it came up automatically y itself and it left me no options and no freedom to act upon my own computer! Then, after maybe 20 minutes it was done and I rebooted the PC again because when I opened Firefox the same problem happened and after the reboot or rather during it a black screen appeared with white text with options to reboot in SAFE MODE, NORMAL, LAST KNOWN WHATEVER and SAFE MODE WITH A PROMPT etc. None of those worked. The alleged attack website ***** (which was the tested fact every time you go there you get attacked by some very harmful and malicious files or whatever it is and after that you can not use your computer anymore) did something to my PC and it no longer boots, just going in circles and giving me option s that don't work. It will cost me up to $300 to repair my computer. Does anyone know what exactly this was and why Google does not warn that ***** is a malicious dangerous site that will harm your computer? And why Google does not accept badware and malware reports anymore? If Google is not safe then what is?
