Is winaero.com Safe?

DO NOT INSTALL APPS FROM THIS WEBSITE! I installed Winaero Tweaker on my PC about a week ago. I had to restart my PC but then I noticed that they hacked my computer! My account no longer showed up on the lock screen and was replaced by another account which was known as "Other User". This wasn't my account because I tried to insert my PIN and password but it said it was incorrect. I had to completely reset my PC now and have lost so many essential files and schoolwork.

This site is focused on customizing Microsoft Windows by special OS tweaks. Generally, and especially in Windows 10, such modifications are unnecessary and might be harmful, even if accomplished by hand; using software offered by this site to modify the system increases the risk. Some of the news information is useful and the site is safe to visit; but this is not a general-purpose Windows help site, and it is not a Microsoft site despite the borrowed brand name.

There are a lot of things to like about the site and it appears to have a number of interesting downloads. Also, all security scans came up currently clean. However, a number of things- including many elements and downloads wont work without a number of trackers enabled- earning it a downgrade to light green.
