I downloaded the install. Scanned it before running and it came back clean. Once installed and running there was no request for a registration key or money and it leaves no watermark on my video.

This website is a scam - it asks for payment when the original software is freeware by Microsoft. Links to official website are now down but alternative source available at *****

Offline Installer, Easy to install. I copy the setup package to my USB disk. Then I can use the software on my office computer (without Internet connection). I tried many many windows movie maker installers. Only this one works! Awesome!

***** The above link is a screenshot of the window that pops up when you start the program. This window will pop up every time you start the program after installation, but if you press "Later", you will proceed to the real Windows Live Movie Maker. I don't know if it's a scam, but you can skip the window. The original file created when installing the program is a shortcut to a .exe file called "WinMovieMaker", and is usually in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Photo Gallery". All this file does is open the advertisement window, and then start another .exe called "MovieMaker" which is just Windows Live Movie Maker. You can delete "WinMovieMaker" and move "MovieMaker" to your desktop and you will not get the advertisement window anymore. I actually think this is great if you don't worry too much about the advertisement window, as the program runs perfectly fine and does what it should. Do NOT buy the program as it is not verified to be legit yet.
