Is winxdvd.com Safe?

I bought this product for few basic operations like merging few video files etc. While using the trial version, I was able to merge the input files and then view the merged output video but when I purchased the tool, it kept throwing error for the individual files. I reached out to customer care immediately for cancelling my subscription as I was clearly unhappy with the product. But they kept on asking for log files for their triage & bug-fix and suggested for another tool to use. The customer service is pathetic and at times you would get response after weeks. I was told that “ Digiarty products are sold as "try-before-you-buy" software” and hence refund won’t be processed since it was my responsibility to validate the product before purchasing. The 30-days money back guarantee was a simply lie! Like many other customers (can check other reviews as well), once you make payment, your money is gone! If you are lucky your product may work, else just forget it and live with it.

I relied on an advertised money-back guarantee in ordering their product, and they refused to honor it. The problem was blatant enough that I think it rose to the level of fraudulent advertising. However, I notice that page has since changed and the guarantee is no longer featured. If you don't rely on their so-called guarantee, and like their software, you will probably have no problems with the site.

Tried to make a dvd with the free version of WinX DVD Author because I was having some region issues with the first program I tried (DVDStyler). The options were shit, and it places a button you can't remove. When I tried to burn the dvd, it wouldn't even detect that it was there (Windows did, as well as ImageBurn and DVDStyler), so I had to save it to a folder and burn them to a disk manually. It put a giant logo (not a watermark, it completely covered up what I put there) on the menu screen, and the audio was appalling. Went back to DVDStyler and was able to fix the region issue easily (it was my mistake in the first place). Also, while writing a single 4.2GB dvd to a folder, it managed to put over 40GB of crap in it's appdata folder (despite me specifically telling it to put the temp files elsewhere), and that crap stayed there until I went looking to see why I had suddenly lost so much space.

downloaded to test before buying and download did nothing but keep insisting i buy the pig in a poke. if the free test does nothing why would i invest? also ended up with WhiteSmoke/Conduit browser hijack that took hours to clear. many not have been from this download but may have been!
