Totally safe and ignore those that say they got hacked after they downloaded a file. its impossible to get a virus from these downloads due to the admins scanning them and checking for anything unrelated to an addon. they got hacked from another source

World of Warcraft Addons site. If you use their addon manager or manually copy addon to your interface\addons folder, they are safe.

Probably just a bad file but its a risk I'm not taking again. Downloaded Carbonite and within a week my account was hacked. Suspicious? I think so...
