Is www.freerepublic.com Safe?

Pro-democracy and pro-national security news and views clearly and forthrightly set forward. No enticements nor attractive dangers to children are found here. No profanity nor long, hateful ranting seen in my review. Good site for coverage of some of the government activities censored from the self-styled "mainstream" media, but not comprehensive coverage. Good site, overall. .

FreeRepublic provides a forum for intellectually honest people to discuss current events. The owner's statement "... America's exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!" probably sets off those who don't want to be held accountable for their beliefs and statements. The forum attracts like minded people and ZOTs disrupters and those who misrepresent their intent. If you are interested in learning something about real life, you should check it out.

The site provides opinionated views that will please those that agree with the perspective and anger those that disagree. I suggest that when reading any information one should know the source and the intent; this site contains opinions referenced by many WoT users as "far right." Notice that the site openly describes itself as a "...political discussion forum and independent grassroots conservative activist group supported by donations from our readers and participants" Many will agree and many will be offended by what they read.
