Is www.rawstory.com Safe?

Way too many pop-ups, ads (149 by the time page finished loading; nearly 500 by the time I closed the site). Alerts for privacy and possible malware. I certainly don't understand how anyone can "downvote" this since it is not an opinion, but purely a technical issue. ↘

An incredibly laggy and resource intensive site that caused the computer I was using the freeze and crash. Using Adblock Plus made the lag go away, while blocking 387 TOTAL ADS on one article. Needless to say, I won't be going to this site until it gets it crap together.

This site is Hilarious. It's so far left-wing loony I thought it was parady at first. If you comment and disagree with them in anyway or view even a slightly different view point, they immediately delete you comment and blcok you from commenting any more. Serously, try it. Just type the most friendly, non-threatening, kind-hearted comment that disagrees with their view-point in any way and see what happens. LOL. These people are pathetic. Their idea of freedom and free speech is, agree with everything we think and say or be purged. A bunch of little commie-fascio Hitler and Stalin worshippers I'm guessing. LOL! A lot of the RawStory stuff is sensationalistic but that's okay, it's that they also feature tons of NewsMax links, 99% of which are outright junk and lies. I can but think they're trying to draw in normals and leftish people with the idea of exposing them to the racism and rightwing lies on NewsMax.

In the article "For The Misogynist Trolls: Your Repulsive Personality Is Not Inevitable" on the site they suggested that all male complaints stem from not getting laid. If any site did the same type of article with reversed genders it would be considered hate speech.
