After completing all their forms and interviews for the FREE tax filing, they demanded an $8.00 fee or all my data would be lost. They advertise free but they are not.

I have used ***** now for the last three years to file my Federal tax returns and the service was relatively easy to use even for more complex returns including use of home office and self employed. While they seem to remind you more and more that they want you to upgrade to the paying service. Also they do not carry over the last years information as they did previously and to file an amended return online you have to upgrade. I guess nothing stays free forever. But overall the service is good.
