Are you looking for chats? Go here! If they share you any links, do not go to them, they may include phishing. This also includes a transfer system, which you should be cautious with because you can get scammed. Besides all of this, it's one of the best chat sites.

The classic XAT, a place where you can make your own chat boxes for your site! Yay! But the only problem is that you MAKE the chat boxes. These chats can be about anything you please, so there could be hate chats, scam chats, all that kinds of stuff. The reason why I put scam is that to use the cool "powers" you have to pay real life money which can sometimes be 5 dollars for a smiley face or something. Overall a good site, but be cautious.

It is very easy to use and can be used in conjunction with Youtube and Photobucket as it has a viewer that displays such content, but those are the only positives I'm afraid. The site is filled with predators and racism. Many use the site to seek attention and to bully. There are decent users but they vary and are not always on to moderate their chats. Do not expect the site to be kind nor fair in its observance of TOS (Terms of Service).

Not the best for children, however, to avoid this, your child can make their own xat chat and lock it to the point where only their friends are allowed in. If they avoid any chat except their own and locked it they should be able to enjoy the fun chat features safely. My point is the actual website is kid-friendly but the users aren't-- they cuss very often and can send innapropriate pictures. Also, once your child goes on the website, it automatically sends them to a "Featured xat chat" which will have the risk to have innapropriate content, so if your going with the idea I said above, make sure they go to the direct link of their chat and not just xat.com. Supervising is a must because it's so easy to end up in another chat. It's a very risky website and it would be better to just wait until they are older than 15 and mature enough to handle it.

The site itself is a good excellent site. Nothing on the site that is not trust worthy. Promoted chats are very strict, and xat tries their best to keep swears/cuss words off of them. A single cuss word will end up getting you banned. The minimum age for using the site is 14, and has very strict privacy policies in place. Although the site itself is harmless, and the staff try their best to make it safe for young teens, other chats that are not moderated may contain hate/ cursing / sexual content. This dragging the rating down. However, not everything can be moderated at once and the site is still an enjoyable place to go and talk with people. Provided you know to follow the xat rules and terms of service.

Despite being the quite the chat experience, 78% of the time people are very much sexual or swearing, not really the best place for 'children' to hang. On the bright side it can be quite entertaining if talking with friends. But there are just some people to watch out for.
