Is tinyurl.com Safe?

Scammers and spammers actively abuse this service. The owners do react upon the abuse reports and block spam/scam URLs after some very looooong time. Sometimes. But just to be safe, I recommend to add this site to the block list in your network equipment.

This is a pretty famous service for shortening URLs. I, sincerely speaking, even had no idea about different plans, subscription, their personal blog and other stuff. It seems to be way more comprehensive that I have imagined. I used this service for a while and everything was okay, when I paid for subscription there were no troubles with inserting credentials or bank card number. I am sure the security of payments here is high, as many people around the globe use TinyURL for shortening links.

***** site itself is good. The only problem is that a lot of disrepable people, companys, and hackers use ***** to make tiny urls links that re-direct you to malware. Even though they disable these links when they find offenders. I am always leary of clicking on tinyurl generated links on websites and in emails!
