WOT wins in court

lawsuit

In February, we told you about the lawsuit filed against WOT in Florida. Ten internet companies accused WOT of defamation, violating rights, conspiracy and manipulating algorithms, among other claims, and demanded WOT to remove ratings and comments related to them. Now, almost a year later, we finally have good news: The court of justice granted the motion to dismiss with prejudice!

Obviously, we all are very relieved of the judge’s decision, although we’re not surprised. “The court’s decision is a very important precedent for WOT, although we always knew that the case was baseless. The decision shows clearly that courts in the United States favor freedom of speech.” says CEO Vesa Perälä.

Read the whole story in our press release that also explains the colorful changes of the case.

Thank you all for your support!

    RE: WOT wins in court

It has been said that the rarest coins are common sense.
One would think that all WOT is doing is accumulating data provided by subscribers .
It is our collective opinions you are compiling and presenting in those little colored circles.
It is at our option to view or pass. (I have done both). You don't stop the free flow of information.
    Kudos to the wise Judge.

The more you know, the less you don't.

If we don't have free speech, what do we have?

The wheels of justice grind slowly but they did grind truly.

A good Christmas present for sanity.

people who are up to no good on the net have the cheek.

The total cheek to brink an effort like the WOT down... the utter cheek. If they were legitimate, then they would have nothing to worry about huh?
