Ist aljazeera.com sicher?

Normally I find AlJazeera quite neutral and informative. But the title and text of this article is quite bias: ¨Australia is guilty of state-sponsored terrorism | Asia | Al Jazeera¨ They call ´terrorism´ something that is called ´human rights abuse, or war crime´. It´s important to use the right words for the right things. The Iranian Ayatollah calls also any enemy ´terrorist´, while the Iranian regime supports terroristic causes abroad.

28 APRIL 2017 ALJAZEERA WEBSITE INFECTED BY MALWARE I go to Aljazeera a lot, and have never had a problem with it. However today when I went to the Syrian War section Chrome blocked a pop-up. Immediately afterwards a new tab opened with a duplicate news page, and the original tab switched to what loked like a page of Bing search results. I killed that page, switched back to the new tab. Then a large blocking frame appeared at the top of the screen, ostensibly from my ISP, warning me that "service was suspended" and that someone had taken over my PC : I was to call a Freephone (0800) number immediately and not try to close the window. Sure enough, I was then prevented from closing the tab. Something, I am sure, was going on the background. But I was able to call up Task Manager, and used that to kill Chrome. I entered the domain into Sucuri which checked the site and reported finding malware (obfuscated Javascript). None of the major antivirus engines are flagging the site, so this is either a false positive or the infection is very recent. I'm going to try and alert the site admins but I don't know how long it will be before they get the message. English version of Qatari state TV. Arabic version of the site may include sectarianism, homophobia, calls for genocide, and the support for the oppression of women and minorities. English section is much less vile but is non neutral backing the Qatari stance on matters of foreign affairs. Also connected to Muslim brotherhood. See ***** ***** *****
