I've been a member at alt.com for over 15 years now. True, many members prove not to be what they claim to be, but if one simply uses their noggin, they won't get taken for a fool through scams or the "Catfish" syndrome. As one member stated, it's an adult site meant for adults only. however, one commenter here erroneously stated that the management could block spammers/posers by blocking their IPs. But in order to do this, alt would have to blockall IP addresses within the entire surrounding geographical areas So they keep files on each profile as they accrue complaints then block that username from the site. Often then, though, that person simply creates a new profile, and the race goes on. But i love alt. I've made many new RT friends as a member there.

It's an adult site, right. That's why I am here :-) Only thing taht is really, really etremely bad: I guess 90% of all "female" profiles are set up buy _male_ Scammers from Ghana. Out of 47 who have put me on a "hotlist" within the last 30 daysonly 2 (two) have proved to be real. ***** has obviously no intetion to stoop them (They could easily block thos IP Adresses) but they seem to enjoy the high membership numbers. I will not go for a paid membership again.

This is part of the "adult friend-finder" network, the company name being "various, inc". This company has a poor track record of both spam and questionable business practices. Even the lack of advertising for their actual company name suggest they know that their past is spotty and their practices questionable and would rather obscure it as much as possible. There is also an extensive list of complaints on ripoff report.

These are scum: if you TRY to remove your profile, they won't permit you to, SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE "MILLIONS" OF USERS... grrr... The ONLY thing they love is money, integrity is something they run over. They are part of the Adult Friend Finder network. Utterly untrustworthy, and have been consistently-so for years. Cheers.

The "Bad Experience" refers only to the free membership. With the free account you give away your email address and get very little . Perhaps if you worked hard at an attractive listing & photo-set someone would eventually contact you - but why bother. Oddly when I went to delete my account, I had more privileges - but deleted it anyway. I suspect they throw a "teaser" your way once in a while to keep you.
