The EFSA looked at 81 positive aspartame studies that considered it safe and 73 negative aspartame studies indicating possible harm. Yet while 84 percent of the positive studies were deemed useful and dependable, every single study that questioned the safety of aspartame - all 73 - were considered unreliable. What a red flag!

They fail to reference a single study the mention, or give full information on size, type, procedure, controls or who funded the research and what the goals of the research was. Simply saying a study at a particular university does not mean it was a good study, it could be some student's freshman project they got an F on for failed methodology, or a grad student hired by them to manufacture evidence in their favor. Without full information there is no way to know if the study is valid or not. Both sites like this by producers and marketers of aspartame , and sites by perpetrators of the myths who have fiscal interest in competing industries, make finding real facts on Aspartame near impossible.
