Ist cdearth.com sicher?

As said by few peoples here, I didn't experience any such bad issues. I have purchased a few collections of desktop publishing software’s for my business. As these software’s are reliable and available at reasonable price, I have no problem with it. Since 1 year I have been using it without any crash or limitations.

I dont expect much when buying anything online, so I always read the fine print. Besides a couple tight points in the fine print (to be expected, they have to make money too), I found the service to be as promised - and I enjoy most of the free software I get.

Absolutely Useless Software... All Saoftware is more than 10 Years Old and Outdated.... False Advertising.

This sites resells software that can otherwise be obtained freely on the internet. The site does disclose the name of the software they are reselling for most products. They however, do not notify visitors that it can be obtained for free. Some software that they are reselling is licensed under GNU, which prohibits the reselling of the software. This is a breach of contract that cdEarth presumably broke unless it was given to them under a separate licence. Regardless, the authors of most of the software available on the site are strictly copy-left and discourage the selling of software and would nearly certainly not have licensed this software to them for resale.

I've been viewing these ratings for quite some time and have been grateful for the heads up but I'm getting concerned that many sites are getting a bad rep just because so many people didn't bother to read the Terms before signing up. Of course, when you sign up for something free there will be follow up emails and there may even be charges for additional products that you agreed to when signing up. Whenever you sign up for something that is free you can expect they will be offering something else that is not free. So due diligence is called for here. READ THE TERMS! Please for all our sakes don't make it more difficult for us to determine good from bad because you couldn't be bothered to see what you were signing up for. I don't know if this is a good site or not now. The program is good and free so why is it a crime that they try to make a few bucks elsewhere to keep the program free? They certainly didn't hide the fact that you would be getting additional CDs at a cost. So help me out here. Are you mad at them because you didn't read the TERMS or did they really scam all of you?
