Ist clixtrac.com sicher?

This looks like a perfectly harmless site. The negative reviews appear to be from people who have not looked at the site's front page to find out what is going on. Anyone can route their ads via this website for free. I presume they make money from people buying other services from them. They have a form to complain about spam. Unless they ignore such complaints, I see no reason to accuse them of anything.

Clixtrack is a click tracking site, it counts the clicks for a web page just the same as Google Analytics but in a more specific and controlled way. Good and bad links can go through this site just the same as can go through Google. WOT is like Facebook reporting, just a few people can trash a whole site's reputation just because they don't like something which leaves WOT open to abuse. I don't agree with that and this is an example of how this service doesn't work fairly. From Facebook experiences moderation is inconsistent and often moderators misinterprete some sites because they don't look properly. Beware misguided goody goody two shoes ideas that are poorly executed.

This is a link tracking and cloaking service. It serves no content that anyone could find offensive. Good people and bad people use the service. Linxtrac just counts the clicks. I think I'm going to dump myWot. The only reviews I see here are uninformed kneejerk reactions from people who are out to "kill the messenger" instead of the person that wrote the message.
