Well, what can I say?
This mean and sly little program installs itself without your knowledge, changes your homepage and disables WOT.- Noooo! (Its funny no-one else has mentioned that!)
It then goes on and spied on you using a program that, luckily, you can see and end in the task manager if you use Windows.
It also could come under browser exploit.
AVOID!

Complete malware!
Came pre-packaged with screen recording software I downloaded (HyperCam). I unchecked the box asking if I wanted to download the toolbar crap, but it STILL downloaded it in addition to the core software. Changed my default homepage and my default search engine, and put the junky toolbar in IE and firefox. Conduit is a well known web company and should be ashamed of themselves.

For unknown reason, it became my homepage regardless my homepage is set to blank!

A program disguised as a harmless toolbar but bundled with spyware and steals your personal data and is also a browser hijacker. Usually bundled with programs such as µTorrent. Best to stay away from.

Hijacked my browser homepage in Firefox, set it to Bing.
Kind of sad how spammy "humans" have somehow obtained a good rating for this site, but I guess it's hard to get honest ratings when SEO and online marketing are involved.

@sziauddi If this site became your homepage, or your homepage is something that looks like a search engine this means you have installed one of the conduit toolbars. If you are sure you did not download it from conduit.com or any other conduit domains (myblogtoolbar.com, ***** etc...) this means you got it from another site or you got it accidentally.
Many people have used Conduit, including me, Lufthansa, InnoGames and many others.
@ollie11 I didn't got any ads or pop-ups using one of the Conduit toolbars.
@mikewax Do not trust Brothersoft (please check: ***** The comment statistics show that many people say it has malicious content and viruses.
@potz @51436 I didn't have any trouble removing the toolbars and the Conduit engine.
If it disables your WOT or it does anything wrong it is not Conduit's or the Conduit Engine's fault. Users can put anything in the toolbars code, even a malicious one. So don't blame Conduit.
And don't forget that the site is both TRUSTe and McAfee certified.

Advanced System Care found three pieces of malware after I'd un-installed and searched out any fragments - I thought! I HATE Conduit!
