Es wird auf andere Seiten weitergeleitet die eine Registrierung verlangen. Auch werden Kreditkarten-Angaben gefordert. Warum diese Seite als sicher gilt, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Ebookee is one of the best sites to share documents ...
Like all sharing sites is hated by fundamentalists of copyright and that is why it has a positive rating but negative comments! Even if you think otherwise try to be fair and honest in review sites! If you think that violates the copyright, write this ... but do not say things that are not true as the fact that it contains malaware or scam... because you know very well that it is not true!

Symantec caught a virus in a download from this site.

The site is misleading. It claims that you can download free ebooks but when clicking on the download links you are redirected to another site and an .exe file download is initiated. Don't trust this site.

Same as the others, link auto-downloaded an executable (which was previously said to be a pdf) and had terrible WOT rating.

ebookee.org has somehow acquired an excellent WOT score, and so I felt confident in downloading the book "Topology" by John G. Hocking and Gail S. Young from this site. It seemed plausible that the book might now be available freely since it was published in 1961 by Dover. However, each of the three sites to which I was directed to download the book has Poor WOT ratings, and they each downloaded an executable file which was judged unsafe and removed by Norton 360. In short, do NOT trust ebookee.org.
