Facebook does not take ownership for its own site security - which is a ludicrous position. It places all accountability and responsibility on the user. Also, take note that it changes its Terms of Use on a whim and without notice, a dangerous practice for users. In other words, user beware!

Hands down the best social networking website. Caution though, if you do not take care of your privacy settings and/or mess with applications you will face some undesirable problems.

To anyone that would post anything about Facebook in the red YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!! I've been on it for many years and have never had any problems with anything. The only thing that i could see as bad is that when you have your relationship status as single you get not so great pictures. And along w/ that they should try and not advertise for spam-ish sites but other than that it's perfect. Sure there are bad things there but I've never went looking for them....

Facebook has a Draconian cyber bullying mentality in its policy. Adding too many friends and too fast within a specific timeframe will have account blocked for at least a month !! Appeals are next to useless.

Mostly clean and simple, but with lots of ads, some spam, and mounds of stupid jerks, although people often act more conservatively and professionally than on other sites.
