Ist facebook.com sicher?

To anyone that would post anything about Facebook in the red YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!! I've been on it for many years and have never had any problems with anything. The only thing that i could see as bad is that when you have your relationship status as single you get not so great pictures. And along w/ that they should try and not advertise for spam-ish sites but other than that it's perfect. Sure there are bad things there but I've never went looking for them....

The site is relatively safe and I have yet to experience any major trouble with it on my side, but be sure to remember the following advice when posting any information on this site: 1.) Do not post any information on your profile that somebody could use against you (for tracking, advertising, stalking, etc). 2.) Do not post anything that has questionable content, since anything that is up on the site will never be deleted once it has been posted. 3.) Be very careful about installing applications on the page, since some of them are known to contain trojans. 4.) Only sign on friends to your account that you are sure that you know. Do not follow any suspicious links in posts that say "Your XX content could not be uploaded, please go here to retrieve them". As a policy, the admin will never do this AND such messages commonly lead to phishing/malware domains. In other words, as long as you follow those common-sense rules, you should almost never run into any sort of compromising issue with this domain.
