Though some would bash because it is furry or because it is an adult site overall the site is considerably more classy than alot of other adult furry themed site. The admin are quick to change alot of mislabeled artwork or remove it all together. They also have strict policies on what is and is not allowed to their site overall. They do promote themselves as adult and do not "target" kids or otherwise underaged audiences. They are not trying to brainwash or corrupt as I believe at least one other person has stated. There are tons of wonderful artists who do things tastefully for the adult work they do while others that are good do not post any adult work at all.

good and overall safe page, sometimes users fail to mark the artwork appropriately but that does not happen very often. in those cases the community itself is responding very quickly and either telling the artist to change it to mature/adult or it gets reported and removed very quickly. but it is very easy to register with a fake date of birth and deactivate the filters for the account. but all in all the site is safe. no viruses, no adult advertisement or content for minors and unregistered people and mostly a very friendly community.

As Previously commented by most users, Furaffinty is an Anthropomorphic Art oriented site and ,In my opinion, more inclined towards adult content. Such Content may only be viewed by having an account, setting proper age and allowing adult content to be showed. Although dependent on the user's viewing choice, Artists who do not use proper age tags might show undesirable images through either the homepage (recent submissions) or their gallery. I believe adult themed Adds (such as erotic artwork, comics, stores or novels) are only viewable with mature content filter activated. By faving an adult picture, it will be displayed on the users favourites, not being allowed the option to hide such content from your favourites public viewing. For younger audiences, art sites such as ***** are more community/content friendly Apparently Furaffinty has had some trouble in the past with its servers, and was fixed not so recently Other than that, site contains no malware or spyware whatsoever. Biggest furry site around containing all kinds of art and other works. Occasionally an artist will mis-tag an item and not mark it as being mature content, but otherwise all adult/mature content is inaccessible unless accessing the URL of a file directly (not the gallery or preview page) or if the viewer has registered on the site, passed the birth date check, and enabled the viewing of mature content, all of which must be done manually and is NOT done by default. Otherwise, no malware, spam, spyware, etc., just images, videos, audio, and text, to the best of my knowledge. Possibly a few non-regular files for some items (ie, images used for inside a computer game, etc) but I have yet to actually come across one.

Pornography abound; it is majority of art here, yet the site illegally does not take the necessary precautions to verify age. Fictional and very graphic child pornography is also found and allowed -- it has its own special submission category for child porn, even. Overall, this site is a porn site (considering the content) that the methods used to run it are neglectful and illegal. Despite and ignoring this, the site does not give viruses or malware, no spam or pop ups, has decent customer service, and is what one would call a "trustworthy, good, porn site" that is a nice site for those 18+ -- but as mentioned they need to take the legal precautions to prevent minors from accessing the site, and they should also be taking to legal precautions to make it extremely clear that the site is an adult site (they do not).

Public mature content tends to happen from time to time, as users slip up when tagging their work, though normally to view this content, you must have an account and be an adult (birthdate check). Probably not kid-friendly by any means, but the site is safe. No viruses or malware. Moderators can read private notes and will do so if given a good enough reason.
