Ist gamespot.com sicher?

Gamespot editor reviews are the most comprehensive that I've found - short, to the point, and address *all* my questions and concerns. They write well and their articles are fun to read. Heck, their reviews are consistently more demanding and unforgiving than other review sites. That's why I've been reading them for over a decade (aside from the odd disagreement - I still take exception to their glowing review of NFS: Porsche Unleashed); their reviews are the most accurate. [devil's advocate] Regarding the Kane & Lynch controversy, I watched the video review, and the reviewer starts off with a very negative attitude, tone of voice, and doesn't say what the problem is. The first 1:30 minutes are actually not very useful. The remainder of the review was fine, but who's going to watch more than the first 1.5 minutes after that? It certainly does seem like a knee-jerk management decision to fire him over just that. However, we don't know if this was an isolated incident, or if there were previous factors leading up to the firing. [/end devil's advocate] I'm not defending GameSpot there; it was a bad PR move. But don't deny yourself a useful source of information based solely on that.

A good site for information on your favorite video games. It's fairly Child Friendly. Though a lot of the reviews done by gamespot workers are unfair, and highly illogical. So if you're looking for reviews either look at user reviews or other Critics' reviews. ALTHOUGH there are annoying pop ups at times.
