The best search engine out there. They also added a new system that fairly accurately knows what you are about to type. Google also has images if you ever need a picture for a project or wallpaper. Not to mention maps,news,video and heck even Google + (Google `s version of Facebook). Just watch out what you search for. Inappropriate sites can show up. MyWOT app or extension is a must for google.

I rated the Google home page a three, simply because people need to remember that Google is finding its way into more and more of our Internet actions all the time. They, like Facebook collect this data. What exactly they to with it I can't personally say, and I'm NOT saying it's necessarily a bad thing to do, but people need to be aware of who collects their data.

I no longer trust Google because they have made it impossible to view the Internet without tracking me on every page that I go to. It was easy before to block Google Analytics and then not have to worry about being tracked, but with the pushing of Google+ and the stupid little plus button next to everything on the Internet, every page I go is running a script from google.com. As we have seen with facebook (I long ago blocked everything facebook), companies placing code on every page on the Internet are simply not to be trusted. The temptation is too great. While I continue to use Google's various and useful sites, I do not allow them to track me across the entire Internet. I accomplish this by blocking their scripts with NoScript and blocking their cookies with CookieSafe in FIrefox, my primary browser. For using their sites I wall them into Google Chrome. I hope I don't learn that Chrome is somehow watching all of my Firefox activity.
