Claims that you can get drug-like effects from sound and making you pay for a free program. See hxxps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats#Unverified_claims They were forced to pay the creators of SBaGen (a free GPL program) $1000 for stealing their code. The website appears to be no longer compliant with the settlement agreement with the SBaGen developers, as the source code can no longer be located. (2017 edit to disable live link)

Probablement une arnaque, les ondes sonores et les ondes cérébrales n'ayant strictement rien à voir. Les phrases comme "Cela demande de la concentration" indiquent un probable effet placebo. Donc c'est certainement sans danger, mais surtout sans utilité.

From what I read, it seems to be something that manipulates one's brainwaves and can force emotional states at free-will. It is the same technology that has been tested for mind-controlling and hypnosis, last I checked. The application even contains "music" that simulates the effects of PROHIBITED recreational drugs. Listening to music as it is can already be potentially harmful, especially when one is subjected to it for extended periods of time at high octanes/volumes. The device emitting the sound waves is often also pulsating radiation that can be harmful - potentially cancer-producing - to the human body, just like cellular phones. More importantly, however, is that music gives off sound pollution, which - in a sense - "pollutes" the air by causing static electricity and intense vibrations on a molecular level. With I-Doser, these side effects of sound and music (specifically music that uses a lot of bass and high-octane sounds) are amplified (no pun intended). Not only are these pollutive sounds being broadcasted to you directly, but they are also doing so at such a frequency that it literally causes a change in brain activity. So, to put it simply, you're getting high off of sounds. Regardless, however, there is much skepticism - and rightfully so - for this I-Doser application, especially considering the pseudo-scientific bases it seems to stand upon. Many Universities (e.g. Oregon Health and Science University) have attempted to test the effects application such as I-Doser. Their findings, however hypothetical and still undeveloped, suggest brainwave entrainment, which is more or less brainwave synchronization with the binaural beats, causing there to be significant physical stimuli. This stimuli of the brain is similar to the type of stimulation given when intoxicated, high, or being submitted to mind-controlling devices. In summary, I-Doser is an "audio drug" that manipulates the brain into believing it is a certain mood, feeling, or emotion when in reality, it is not. It can be potentially harmful and although downloaded by over a million users, there have been [poorly documented] cases - rumors really - of deaths caused by the product. This application can simulate the effects of recreational drugs - legal and otherwise - along with pain, love, joy, fear, anger, wrath, lust, envy, jealousy - just about anything you can imagine. It's mind-controlling by music. The binaural beats aren't even really music, but rather subliminal and subsonic messages being sent to the brain to trick it into believing something that is not there. You can literally use this to become irate and angry... Angry enough to kill. I do NOT recommend you using this product, however it is YOUR CHOICE. Maybe watching this will help: "Over I-Dose" on 1,000 Ways to Die *****
