The company is legit but had hired a very unethical agency. Issues are now fixed. I hope the issues can be dealt with, as it is a good company and probably one of the better commercial telephone directories out there. After all, even the best companies make mistakes.

The site was easy to use, provided good results with relevant information, and offered a chance to rate the results - something I always enjoy doing. My biggest complaint surrounds the results. I wish they were sorted in a meaningful way. A search for PIZZA gave several results, but in no understandable order. Even an alphabetical sort would have been helpful. I did not find examples of some of the previous complaints - perhaps the site owners have taken the comments to heart and made improvements - something that I personally find refreshing.

It seems they have rectified their previous issues of typosquatting YouTube (this was more than a year ago). I still have insufficient data on the safety of this site, but it seems harmless enough at first glance. There are actually less tracking cookies on here than Google sites, so that's working for you. Anyway, I can't in good conscience use the "Good Site" category for this comment, because I don't have any more information.

the reason for the bad ratings is: "I give more explanation here ***** but the short story is we had affiliates at one time who were performing in unethical ways in order to boost their revenue. Once we caught that we terminated them and have implemented procedures to ensure it does not happen again." I checked and there do not appear to be any more popups of doom.

It appears that a lot of the negative comments here are from the past around the time we discovered some of our affiliates using unethical tactics in promoting the site for higher aff revenues. We have long since terminated them from our affiliate partnership program and have worked very hard to eliminate the possibilities of this happening since then and in the future. I have never seen anything that some of the users are saying. I have written for this site for quite a while now and never had any problems when using the site. In fact, prior to even writing for them I visited the site on a regular basis as I found better results here than most other IYP sites.
