MajorGeeks provides geeky software tools for download. Unlike some download service sites, MajorGeeks specializes in programs catering to power users. This is a great download service for finding various tweaking programs and cleaners. As with most software, study it before you try it, and avoid headaches later.
Watch out for the ads and trackers. :-)

SAFE downloads--one of the first sites to check for malware.
INFORMATIVE--list of recommended freewares for various categories, such as disk cleaning, antivirus, browsers, office tools, etc.
HELPFUL--forums to help you fix a problem on your computer.
ENTERTAINING--look at the "catchy" phrases on every page, and "Way off base" stories at bottom of each day's downloads.

I have been using this site for many years and have NEVER had a malware or virus issue with ANYTHING that has been downloaded or used from this site. Not many websites you can say that about.
