You can if you turn off automatic login from your profile. Go here:
https://www.mywot.com/profile/edit
Turn off the option "Allow the add-on to log me in automatically" under "Privacy settings" and press Submit at the bottom.

What ads or pop-ups do you mean?
I have paid for 3 months and I have a problem with my password. Impossible to log in and so impossible to get any connexion. I have tried many times to change my password with "forgotten password" but it doesn't work and even if it says that the password has been updated, impossible to log in. I have written them 6 or 8 times about this, with the contact on their website and straight with email, but absolutely no response. It seems that there is nobody behind the website. I have tried to find a solution by looking on many helpful websites, but nothing.
So, if you want a good VPN, it is not Anonine.
If you need absolutely nothing, ask them ! "
And even if it is cheap, when it is not working, it's still too much expensive
