Ist nero.com sicher?

Для того, чтобы определиться, покупать или нет полный комплект данного ПО, необходимо опробовать все функции в прбной версии. Да, на сайте можно скачать пробную версию, НО, прежде, чем я её установил, пришлось ковыряться, с первого раза не получилось. И самое противное, что я именно скачивал пробную версию, чтобы определится, как обрабатываются видео в 4К, а в пробной версии огромная ''дуля'' на эту фунуцию.

It use to be that some of there smaller free programs had open candy malware in it and if you refuse to let them install it on your computer their software would not install either, no opt out of the malware. Now though even their flagship product Nero Platinum 2015 has opencandy malware in it. It doesn't matter if you buy the license key for the software. You still have to download and install the trial version and enter the key into that to unlock all the features and it installs open candy! I should know I brought the key and software, but when I wen't to reinstall it the newer version for download had open candy in it. Lucky I found a backup I made when I originally installed the trail version that did not include open candy in it!

Unethical as doesn't fix bugs but instead is 'addicted' to bringing out new versions, pushing them via OEM DVD-Burner sales bundling, then even if you buy the full version, bugs like this never get fixed: http://forum.my.nero.com/index.php?showtopic=3695 This is the same issue people have with Microsoft, they make money at the expense of ethics. Just like a thief, perhaps to a lesser degree, but certainly NOT virtuous. FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) is indeed more attractive, as you get the same unfixed bugs, but ONLY after the developer stops maintaining the software (FREE so no hard feelings!). Nero is now also one of the worst bloatwares, and the Ask Toolbar issue is true, I do many system builds and have seen this from Nero 6 onwards, IIRC.

Bad site, bad program Installs Ask Toolbar, don't asks you, where to install the program itself, very hard to delete it, everytime you want to delete a file or go into the context menue, Windows Installer opens to configure Nero (don't know why?) All in all it's kinda virus, not a usefull program you should trust

As long as you skip the intrusive add-ons like the ASK toolbar, Nero's OEM paring with drive manufacturers is one of the cleanest I have seen. But then again, I just installed enough to get minimal functionality. For serious burning, I'll go with my ISO Buster Pro. and similar world class FOSS based software.
