Ist odesk.com sicher?

Good freelance/outsourcing site to get jobs done and make a lil money. But as far as a freelancing, there is heavy Global competition there and you may have to really lower your wages (at least until you build super solid rep) in order to win a job there.

Odesk is a great website fro freelancers and people in need of work. Here you can showcase your skill and talents and earn money along they way. You can also build up your reputation and obtain more lucrative offers. Just be careful and check employers' status before applying for an interview.

Worst support staff of all freelancer websites. Forget about getting your money back. A big warning to anyone looking to hire people. If you get screwed by a contractor you already paid some money to, you can forget about getting your money back. Most contractors are from poor countries and the staff people are from the same poor countries in Asia. They are on the contractor side always. The staff are also rude, will just shut down support chat randomly, will not reply to you at all, etc. My recommendation is to go to another freelancer/contractor website. Anyone else is better. Just go to their forum and you will see so many people and companies from western countries got robbed thousands of dollars and odesk didnt help them at all.

extremely bad and extremely limited, the only people getting the jobs are people that joined 3~5 years ago. and employers are only hiring people that bid <$1 and those already have much experience!! try it! create a new account and try to get ANY job in 1 week even bidding at 1$!!
