Ist ovh.net sicher?

Yeah, there are many websites devoted to checking the speed of the internet, connection to iPV4, 6 and so on, and this one is such kind of website. Well, I am glad that I managed to quickly measure the speed and I got comprehensive outlook like peak & average speed, connection type, upload & download speed and everything in real time. Very convenient. Hope they will continue being free of any charge, because some services recently integrated paid subscription, lol! It's ridiculous of course.

I receive spam emails from them at least once a day - sometimes several times a day. Each one contains links back to a scam site hosted at ovh.net. Each incident is reported. Each report seems to be ignored. I do not understand how the people who run ovh.net can live with themselves, knowing that they're ripping people off on a daily basis.

Continous spamruns from this network / by this company being sent. Complaints are ignored. Time to blacklist this company. Company continues after at least 148 complaints. Now with added phishing mails and extremist propaganda (Daesh /ISIS) being added in the mix. great :( 4 months and dozens of complaints later - ***** still continues with spam, phishing, malware and islamic threats. ANY company using their services should be considered suspect, and not safe to do business with. I also see some comments that ***** is not responsible. This of course is ludicrous - if you rent out servers, and your customers do 'bad things' either you stop service to this customer, or at least warn them to stop. It`s a bit suspicious to see these comments - makes me wonder if this is damage control by OVH itself? Updated the Wikipedia page about OVH with comments about their spam (May 26th, 2016). Long time spammer and phishing host. Irresponsive, does not take action against spam and phishing, does not react to abuse reports. Is not only a spam-tolerant host. Seems to also harvest and resell email-addresses interacting with hosted sites for spam purposes. Not a trustworthy host.
