secure site only drawback is the waiting period before making your first purchase as confirmation process of acct or cc takes time.

PayPal is the reference for paying on the Web, it is a kind of wall between you and the seller, better than using yout card directly on the Website.

I use PayPal for all my on-line transactions and have never had an issue with them Recently, I had an on-line company refuse to return my purchase amount even though the offered a 60 day guarantee. Thankfully, I used PayPal for this transaction. I reported the issue to PayPal and it was resolved in a matter of a few weeks and I did not have to do anything other than state I wanted a refund.
I am very satisfied with PayPal and their services.

They are pretty trustworthy, but when it comes to customer service, it's abysmal. Stay on hold for 15 minutes then talk with somewhat rude and unintelligible people. Use them only if you really have to.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I've had good experiences with Paypal. They've had their workers call me to confirm my email change, along with emails sent to me.

PayPal is easy site, good and popular site.
But, you need to manage to deposit the money because there are Money freeze and its look like prank.
I Rated bad child safety because PayPal isn't for childrens.

Graet Payment gateway for selleres, just use your brain and don't leave unnecessary funds in your account so that if a problem occurs you will have most of your money in a BANK (or your pocket!).
For the Consumer, It's a GREAT way to pay as long as you folllow the rules and watch your email in case they "temporarily lock your account" (due to suspected Fraud!)!! If you use your account from many different locations or frequently travel outside your Country of residence, this may occur more often than for those who just use their account from the same computer and location all the time.
When your account is temporarily locked, there is a very simple process for "fixing" the situation !!
I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE !!! (on several occations as I DO travel out of the USA frequently)
All you have to do is Log in to your account and follow their instructions. Very sinple really... a bit of an inconvenience, but what if someone from some foreign country WAS trying to "hack" your account!!! You would REALLY be mad if you lost that $5,000. in your PayPal Account; Wouldn't you.

Constantly getting account locked. Takes weeks to resolve. Don't protect with virtual products. Best to pay cc directly.
