Ist pchelpsoft.com sicher?

Bad experience: I don't understand why a good website would go bad. I used them previously and had no problems. I have always liked their cleaner and had so many features, more so than others I have used, previously. I wanted to add the driver app and was ready to do so. I was asked if they would do it for me. Since I trusted them, I said yes. Of course, they would have control. I allowed them to do that. It took a long time for this to happen as I was told that my computer was at 10% efficiency, down from 100%. A graph was put up and I saw it but did not believe it. I was asked if I would accept them to fix the problem and immediately, I was given an outrageous price for them to fix it and it was good for a year. Never have I experienced this. I immediately said, NO, closed down my computer, and powered it up again. Something was wrong with it not behaving the way it did, before. When I tried uninstalling the program, I got a notification that my files would be encrypted and I would not be able to retrieve them. This happened twice. I did an uninstall, anyway. My computer was now giving me problems. I decided to reinstall windows using a USB flash drive and it seems OK, now. Since AI is becoming more predominant, I feel that their corporate was compromised from an outside source. I would say most likely, they did not know about it. Look. If our government can be scammed by outside sources, anybody is at risk. From now on, I will only have control of my computer as I cannot trust outside resources.

Tried to download software but got 'corrupted files' error message. Contacted Support and they wanted to clean my computer. They were rudely persistent. I cancelled the order. My computer is cleaned and checked every day. I have a suspicion they wanted me to sign up for an online computer maintenance contract. There are a lot of these about. Some are dreadful and totally 'rearrange' your software.
