Ist peoplepc.com sicher?

have been with peoplepc for over 7 Years. I have found it to be faster and more reliable than AOL, that I use to have. the spam is a problem with any ISP. I get hundreds in my yahoo box a day and the same amount in my hot mail account. Nigerian Princes are wanting me to help them smuggle out millions from Nigeria and bealise through yahoo daily. you need good spam blockers andI have had No problem with Peoplepc being compatible with any anti virus products. the only false positives are with XP anti virus and super spy bug killer, they tag Peoplepc dialer as a torsion horse

Cheapest rural dialup I've found in over 10 years, but you get what you pay for - cheap. Their dialer software is slow, their network is slow, and it ia a pain to clean up after when you aren't using it. On the positive side they had local numbers and cheap dial up service in rural areas that everyone else completely ignored. Summary: if you have to use them, they will do, but if you have other options, by all means, use the other options! (There needs to be a more moderate category - they aren't THAT bad, just not that good)

Horrible service. Their security plan is required for unlimited internet access. Without it, you're only connected for only 4 hours. And it's like 2 to 5 times faster than regular dial-up with the picture quality on the lowest. I tried to get something from them, but it never came. And the annoying thing about it is that the window always enlarges to fill the screen whenever you're connected. It gets very annoying and there is nothing to do since the speed is still slow and it would take forever to load a page. And one thing that my mother didn't like was that once we had to pay like $15.99 and in one invoice, we were charged $20.99, without notice. I never used it that much. They even charge when you don't use it for ONE MONTH. I would give the rating of PeoplePc of negative ∞(infinity)　out of 5.

Makes you turn on javascript to do a search for local access numbers, then gives you a page full of numbers, none of which are actually local, some of which are half-way across the state. I have to let my pants down to get information which is useless to me.
