Follow up to original post (found below this one) Do not bother with Playerup, they are thieves I originally posted over a year ago, about an account I sold, where I was to receive over $3200 after their huge fees were taken out. After I waited the ridiculous 144 hours to receive payment, no payment issued and they stopped responding to any messages I sent to them, including through the telegram app, where you could see they were looking at my messages, but just ignoring. I let them know I would be posting to several review sites, as well as, the FBI, FTC, and BBB. At this point they responded, but never issued payment and began to ignore me again. I followed through and posted to all of those sites and began putting reviews everywhere I could so others wouldn’t fall into this same trap. What they do, is front load the review pages with fake reviews saying they are great, but if you go several pages in, you will start to see the same scenario pop up, that is exactly like mine. Months/years have gone by with no payment and no responses, but when you post negative reviews, they will offer to pay you, if you remove the reviews (which is illegal btw). I left a scathing review in October 2024 and in December they messaged me out of the blue to say they wanted to rectify the situation. I thought, hey, they might finally be doing what they are required to do, pay me for the account I sold on their web site. But, as expected, within 2 weeks of back and forth communication, they told me that there was a problem. That I have left negative reviews, and that they needed those removed, before they would issue payment. Because I had seen this in reviews before, I refused to remove or update my reviews until I received payment. We went back and forth about this, but I knew if I removed those reviews, which obviously were impacting them, that they would still not issue payment. Finally, they said that they would have their legal team draw up an agreement where I would agree to update/remove those posts, after I had received payment. That was the last I have ever heard from them and it has now been 4 months. They never intended to pay, they just wanted the comments gone. Seriously people, there are better places to sell your accounts, these guys are criminals, and hopefully if the FBI/FTC/BBB receives enough complaints, they will be caught and prosecuted. What they are doing is fraud, plain and simple. Do Not, Do Not, Do Not do business with Playerup This is a warning to anyone that is thinking about buying or selling an account with this fake business Any reviews you have seen that state they have made a positive transaction with this business are probably fake, with the one exception. If you are a buyer and you purchase an account, and the person that is selling the account fully discloses what you are buying, so the account is as advertised, and you do not have any issues with them delivering the account, you may actually end up ok. The problem arises when you are either the seller and are owed money, or you are a buyer and the deal falls through after you have submitted payment. In these instances, Playerup will not issue a refund back to the original buyer. Once payment has been received, if you are the seller, or if you are a buyer that withdraws their purchase, communication from Playerup will end. Even after you send repeated messages to them, they will not respond. I used several of the options they provide for communication, and they just don’t respond, with one exception. The Telegram app at least allows you to see when they have viewed your messages. Once it appeared that I was not going to receive payment, I contacted them through this app. They fairly quickly asked for my Cashout URL, which is a page on middleman that confirms your transaction is complete. "Your transaction is now officially complete. Your payment has been successfully scheduled to be sent and it will appear in your Account within an estimated 1-96 hours (it has now been 9 months)." Now to give you an idea. The original purchase price was $3600, and they were taking $468 to facilitate this transaction (very high imo). They also charged the buyer over $200 in fees for using a credit card (probably because the credit card company can go after them) After I sent this URL link on the Telegram app, they then went silent. I sent several messages asking for an update, and I would see that they looked at my message multiple times a day, but they would never respond. The ONLY time they finally did was when I threatened to submit a report to the following agencies (this message was sent after a month had passed with no payment): Better Business Bureau Federal Trade Commission FBI Within 30 mins I received the following reply “I see they are still working on your ticket. You should receive an update shortly. Thank you for your patience.” Eight days later, no payment, and I informed them I was going to start submitting the complaints and reporting negative reviews anywhere online I could find, so that others could not be ripped off like this. Shortly after that message I received “Informed team to expedite this.” I then gave an additional 2 weeks before I submitted the reports, just in case, my messaging had prompted them to finally act. On March 9th, I informed them that I had filed with the Better Business Bureau and the FTC, and that I would be submitting to the FBI cyber division soon. I have received no messages since that time. I had set up to receive my funds via bank transfer. Domestically, this takes no longer than 2-3 business days. If international, it can take 4-5 business days, so the length in their delay is nonsensical. I cannot caution you enough to avoid this company. They are not a legitimate business, and they have a history of several years of complaints from people that found themselves in the same position as me. I also suggest, that if you have been a victim of fraud from this company, that you report to those above agencies as well. This is why I provided the links. If these agencies get enough complaints, and the dollar amount we have lost exceeds whatever threshold is needed for this to be taken seriously, we might finally be able to get these crooks out of business. After it was apparent that I wouldn’t be receiving payment (this is the third middleman company I have used over the years, but the first that didn’t follow through and provide payment), I started combing the web to see if this was a consistent pattern. It is. There are so many stories that span over the last 4-5 years that talk about their situation being identical to mine. In some cases, the buyer/seller tried for years to get payment and never did. Playerup is somewhat responsive, while you are going through the transaction with the buyer/seller, but once payment has been issued to them, they go silent. If people report negative feedback, they threaten to withhold payment until they remove the feedback, which the FTC says if they do that to you, report them, as this is a clear violation. Doesn’t matter if you do or not, YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY. My belief is that they will let a few low dollar transactions go through to try to give themselves legitimacy, but you will find that the overwhelming number of people that do a transaction through this business will be ripped off. PlayerUp has been reported in various review sites as being fraudulent as well as having their profile deleted on trustpilot, which is really a sign of how shifty these guys are and now they appear to be farming reviews on various sites including WOT. There are also various youtube and Bing videos as well (can't post links unfortunately) These are just some of the many, many areas where you can view reports from people that have similar situations as mine. Better Business Bureau reported back to me that they tried multiple times to contact this business with no response. Reddit won’t let me post their business address, but it can be found via Better Business Bureau. Unclear if this is a legitimate address, but that is what has been provided. Now I assume, as is consistent with other people that have left reviews, that they will tell me that I will not receive payment until I remove these reviews. Umm, it has been 9 months and there is no sign that I will ever receive payment. Last time they responded to anything was several months ago. I believe they take the time that they do, so that you eventually give up and they don’t have to pay out the money. Please don’t be a victim like me. Find another middleman service to use and avoid Playerup.

Reliable and Trustworthy My username is RED on this site. I can vouch for them that they're legit obviously. Can be slow at times but they always follow through in the end. Used for both buying and selling at least once and have been doing business with them since the beginning. Obviously a very nasty industry this is full of scammers but they do a solid job filtering out these people.

Scam site. Dont use it. I've sold an account, and I haven't been payed yet. They're are stalling and not communication alot anymore. Dont use this site. Report it.
