Propaganda site with blatant left-wing agenda. Most of their phony fact checking can be disproved in under two minutes of web searching. Funded by Soros and the usual suspects, exactly like Factcheck.org.

Democrats service. I read several "explanations" about the Facts, and they use so week arguments that not even a 6-years old kid can't believe it.

Very misleading and unethical in the sense that they're legit skewing the truth. And seeing how MOST people here also have pointed this out and left low ratings... yet this has a very high 4.6 rating by this site seems to suggest that this site itself has bias. Bias is provable here with someone elses post. "Trump: I told you she was for open borders! Politifact has an agenda. They create so-called "blacklists" with the help of the far Left Southern Poverty Law Center. Politifact itself is the problem

It doesn't matter if you name yourself some innocuous term, if you parse words, bend the truth, only choose to "fact-check" one side an issue or outright lie about something you have NO CREDIBILITY

Very nice site, with both liberal and conservative points... probably the best place to get information. Much better to trust then brietbart, infowars, CNN, etc,,,,, definitely trustworthy for conservatives as it catches lies caught by Clinton as well.....

alot of half-truths, i wouldnt say this site is qualified at defining these "truths" the site also receives huge amounts of funding from clinton fundation donors which would indicate that the site is biased *****

Left wing bias. Owned by the Tampa Bay Times, a newspaper that has endorsed Hillary Clinton. Uniformly rates conservatives as less truthful than liberals, even on issues when facts and politics disagree. "Transgender girls aren't boys" - Politifact Every cell in their body is male. Ignoring facts when they disagree with your worldview is NOT fact checking. "Hillary Clinton says none of her emails had classification headers" (Mostly True) This site is a fucking joke.

Outstanding site that puts truth above spin and partisanship. You can tell they're doing their jobs right since here in the WOT reviews you see people complaining they're both liberal and conservative bent. ;)

Overall: Did you know that politicians don't always tell the truth? Well, if you didn't, PolitiFact might be the site for you. More seriously, it's a well-maintained, typically unbiased site which simply reports facts. Useful for debunking all the political gibberish you always hear. Opinions: Could your opinions affect your enjoyment of the site? Only if you have an axe to grind. Rulings are given pretty indiscriminately with regard to ideology. Child Safety: No complaints.
