Tried signing up to this using a phone number and e-mail address that I use for possible spam, and it's definitely a complete scam. The "registration" process involves entering personal details and then trawling some 60 or so offers (the kind you'll find on more reputable competition/survey sites anyway). Offers which, even if you opt-out of, you will be signed up to anyway as if you had opted in. Presumably they get a commission for people signed up to each offer so just do so automatically to fleece as much money from each offer as possible. So be warned; if you use your genuine e-mail address and/or phone number then you *will* get spam calls and e-mails by the barrel load regardless of how careful you are to opt-out of everything. As for their product testing/reviews, I see no evidence that you'll actually get anything. In fact, if you complete registration for an offer then you'll receive confirmation of your login details but these DO NOT WORK. There is also apparently no customer service of any kind; their domain name doesn't have an MX record which means that none of the e-mail addresses of people supposedly working for the site can actually receive messages. Although their blog includes pictures of people with devices, my suspicion is that these are just people involved in making money from this scam, or friends and relatives, so that they can throw up fake (and VERY badly written) reviews now and then to keep up appearances. So in short; do not sign up to this site. UPDATE: Notice how the site-owner response to this review doesn't address even a fraction of the points raised, but is basically just a sales pitch for their site? That should tell you everything you need to know about how fraudulent this site is.

Hi Haravikk, I'm sorry you feel Product Testing is a scam. We actually work with 3rd parties which is stated in our terms and conditions and only if you sign up to these offers will you ever be contacted by our 3rd party partners. Product Testing do give out products, mystery shopping and dining opportunities every week, people are selected at random and due to the amount of people who sign up unfortunately not everyone will get the chance to become a product tester with us. We also feel our survey is a little too long and we could make this shorter, we are working to improve our site and hope a new site will be launched in the summer of 2014. You can contact us via e-mail at info@producttesting.uk.com Many Thanks. Kind Regards. "
Be careful. While some people might be lucky enough to actually be sent it, the majority of us will get nothing but an email inbox full of spam. Layout: The site is nicely laid out and has  lots of features. Overall, it looks professional but really just hides people who will give you an inbox of spam. Experience: I decided to try it and I clicked no to all of the offers. However, my email was still spammed. I would not trust this site. Although some of us will get the items displayed, you will have to pay for it with an inbox of spam. Website: 8/10 Safety: 2/10 Trustworthiness: 0/10

I took a look at this site and noticed APPLE products. Its a FACT that APPLE only hand out testing products to its workers (own testing group) and they NEVER KEEP THEM! they hand them back. you only have to ring APPLE to conferm that, that allone told me more then enough that they are indeed a scam and the positive feedbacks are clearly from the site workers I mean come on coming out with stuff like I am like you I dont work for them is a huge give away -_-

Product Testing is an excellent company, they do a great job of testing products, usually conducted by members of the public. Their website is excellent and their response to emails is very fast. They have excellent posts on Facebook. I have had several communications from the company all have been very professional and in no way misleading. I have seen their Facebook page and it is equally great. I can only offer my highest recomendation for this site.

This site is amazing!!!!! I came across it on a google search, I found the beauty page & although you do need to register & answer loads of questions I didn't think it was too bad. Anyway I'd completely forgotten about signing up & about 3 weeks after I'd signed up I was selected to review the Benefit mascara! A* in my opinion :)

Nobody wins anything but an inbox full of spam and possibly something worse like a malware infected computer or a stolen identity. It's a scam, period. *****

This website is genuine, I've been selected as mystery shopper last week, which is surprise me because I've never win . The customer service were very helpful answering you question about the procedure on Facebook, straight away. Yes, you still have to do a lot of questionnaire, but if I will get the product for free, I don't mind to doing it by simply answers no to all of it. As long as I registered. After you been selected write a review with a picture of you holding A4 papers stated as wanted product testing and the item. It is genuine, and the customer service always there to help you.

I love producttesting.uk.com! I came across them from a Facebook advert for the Babyliss stylers and thought "I've always wanted to try them but couldn't afford it". I clicked on the advert and came to a registration page which looked really good. I read the privacy policy and saw that they do work with third parties but this didn't bother me. There terms were clear and I understood everything. I continued to register and the survey was quite lengthily but only took me about 10 minutes to fill in. I did receive a few emails from third parties which didn't bother me at all, I did answer yes to a few questions so I expected some emails. A few weeks later, I received an email from producttesting saying I had been chosen to product test!!! I was over the moon! I received the product and letter literally a few days later. Their customer service is great. Since then I have signed up for more products and would definitely recommend it to my friends. I can imagine people are being negative about this site because they probably didn't read the terms, probably didn't read the questions and bitter that they haven't yet received a product but you can see from their blog and Facebook page that they have so many reviews and Facebook likes. Thanks again producttesting!

This is a great site and NOT A SCAM! I was selected to test the pandora bracelet. I recived it within 2 weeks and when it arrived i messaged them on FB to find out what to do next. I got a reply very quickly and they were very helpful. All i had to do was take a picture of myself with the bracelet and write a review and i got to keep it! They select testers at random so if you wanna be in with a chance of testing something all you have to do is register for the product by filling out a short questionnaire. It normaly takes me about 5-10mins. If you would not like to recieve loads of emails from other companies just select no to the offers in the questionnaire. I wouldn't say this site is for kids as its not that sort of site. If you still think this is a scam just check out there FB page and check out peoples product reviews. Mines on there just look for a pic of a girl with a great new bracelet!

This site is defo 100% NOT a scam! I found this site brilliant, I have received a Pandora bracelet from them to test, it was posted promptly and all communication from them was pleasant and positive! I have not had any negative experiences with this website at all and have signed up to be selected for other products! the registration process is straight forward, you simply only click yes to the offers that actually interest you, it takes a little while but is definitely worth it when you are selected and receive a product.

I recently 'liked' this Facebook page after seeing an advert on my news feed. I decided to apply for a hair curler and filled out the questionnaire, and clicking 'no' to all the other options - bingo, gambling, new phone etc! I was informed on facebook that i had been chosen and sent them a personal message to claim. I received a message back explaining when i would get the curler and how to do the review. It arrived the next day via Parcelforce 24 and i was very pleased with the item . As per the terms, once i had completed a review and a video of using it, i was free to keep the item. You can see my photo and video on their Facebook page and i am definitely not linked to the company or work for them. Also, i have never received any phone calls or emails from any third party.

I use this site daily and have had the opportunity to receive a Tassimo coffee machine to try at home. The staff stay in regular contact with me and i received the item within a few days. I have been asked to write a review about using the machine and also had fun making a video. This site is 100% real.

This IS a trustworthy site. Users just need to use their intelligence and not click yes to everything on the questionnaire. Those who believe this site is not genuine are those who have not received any products. Please take a look just to see how many users there actually are. I received a onesie to review the other week so it s therefore legitimate. The questionnaire takes 10 - 15 minutes to complete. I never gave any information out that i didn't want to share. Use your initiative! Don't give out information that you do not want others to know. Simple as that. Their service has always been fantastic also. If i have had any questions they are only more than happy to help. Product Testing UK is a genuine site.

I completely trust this website 100% as i filled in the application to become an Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette reviewer. After clicking the register button, i answered the questionnaire within about 5 mins and at the end of the process it states you will be contacted if successful. When it came to the nominations i was successful, which was a surprise but i was super excited! I received a very friendly email from a member of the product testing team for myself to confirm my home address, which i did. Within two days i had received the letter stating what to cover in my review as well as an A4 poster saying "Wanted: product testers: Two days after that i received my Urban Decay Palette ready to be reviewed :) This website is not a scam and i can vouch for this.....if you go to the Facebook page you will see where they have nominated myself, you will see I'm part of their "liked" groups and you can read my review. I was very happy with the service they supplied and i would definitely recommend anyone to register to become a product test with this website, and i have already got my partner and a few of my friends registering. Don't believe these people saying its a scam, the process to register may be lengthy, but they are having a rebuild, and it definitely isn't :)

I have had no problems with this site at all and I have received a free product from them only a month ago. Yes there is a lengthy process of questions that take about 10-15 minutes to complete but once done you do actually get put into the running for that product. I have uploaded pictures and a video of me with my free product when I received it and put them on Facebook, which is the only stipulation that they ask of you. So I guess the proof is there for you to see.
