I have participated on the site many times. I have won many items. What I like best about this site is that if you don't win, you can apply your bids to the purchase of the item at regular prices--prices that are reasonable compared to retail store prices. The customer service is also good. Yes, there is a lot of competition and yes, this is entertainment and a form of gambling. However, if you can use the item and you were going to buy it at the store anyway, why not try to get it for less? (I am not employed by nor have been paid to write this comment.) If you set your mind to it, the worse you'll get is the item at regular price.

Look - i am in Australia - not an employee of or a contractor etc to this company - its as simple as this - it works on people taking the chance they will win - LIKE ANY AUCTION The winners are grinners - looks like the ones who wrote here are losers - BAD LOSERS Its not a scam - you either are in it to win or to lose - dont complain when you lose an auction - this is where the web sucks and any idiot can complain - UNFAIRLY! Grow up may i say - you either understand what you are doing or you dont - if you dotn - stay away. As to the abject morons who voted this as unsafe for kids or security - WOT should remove you from WOT - u have used WOT unfairly as security was fine - and kids cant use it unless they have credit cards - and if your kids (under18) have credit cards - YOU ARE A MORON!

The website is safe. That's the best term one can ever be use on this kind of business. First off, I am not an employee nor related to Quibids at all. I am just a customer, who has not tried bidding at all. I just registered to watch what is happening inside, and so far, I have not seen any misleading tactics whatsoever. I fairly got it quickly what the scenario is like and did 'what if' analysis on my end and on theirs. The site gives you a potential power to own an item with price greatly less than other stores ( both online and retail ) puts out. However, sense that Quibids have made a twist in the auction system some people are retrospectively familiar with. In order to maintain the entirety of existence, Quibids most likely rely on the customers that buy their Bid Points (BP). The BP are your tokens to place on an item you very like. Mind that the BP are worth 60 U.S. cents per points. So 1 BP = 60 cents. 100 BP = $60 Analogous to the idea of movie tickets that allows you to enter the premises and enjoy the movies produced by talented people, these BP allows you to join the auction and wage -luck- on the items produced by people. I emphasize luck because that is one of the things being applied here. Henceforth, gambling style. That's the very idea of auction anyway: gamble against people for an item. Like norm gambling, people wage their money on a valuable item: money. However, the money being waged upon is much of a bigger value than people waging on it that's why gambling became a game of luck. Much like what is happening here on Quibids. I have said my opinion. What remains is cautiousness and common sense that you are in a new place, and heading on without enough knowledge is fatal. Lastly, people say negative things on the site are noobs.

You have to be on your toes and watching what's going on. Low sales all around you but for some reason the bid you make is always out bid. I think this is some sort of insider scam to keep people bidding.. Play a day or two then stay away and SAVE your money

When bidding in auctions on QuiBids, you never have to lose! Though bids placed in auctions are not returned, you never have to lose an investment. If you win an auction, you will have the opportunity to obtain the item for up to 90% off retail! If you lose in an auction, the Buy Now feature is available in every auction so that you can apply your investment towards the total value of the item. For example, if you bid an investment of $30 in an auction for an item valued at $50 and do not win, you may apply this investment towards the Value Price of an item when utilizing the Buy Now feature. So, in this case you have the opportunity to pay an additional $20 to receive the item at it's valued price. This feature ensures that QuiBids users always have the option to receive an item when participating in an auction, and never have to lose any money invested. By winning auctions and always utilizing the Buy Now feature in auctions that are not won, you will always be saving money on QuiBids. Hopefully this helps provide some clarification regarding your issue! Please don't hesitate to contact support@quibids.com with any other questions or concerns you may have. Sincerely, Quibids Team
When visiting this site, please remember comments stating company employees boost up bids. most people are losers.are made by uninformed people . I agree it is misleading but you have people wanting everything for nothing bad mouthing a completely legal operation. It is not a scam, it is not unethical or underhanded.. you need to make your decision and live with it. No I DO NOT USE IT AND DON'T RECOMMEND ***** is a great way to get stuff cheap if you are intelligent enough to use it.. As for me I Like a straight purchase deal with no bidding..

NOT A SCAM. I love how Americans are so stubborn and opinionated, while being oblivious to reasoning. No employees bidding. No need to. It prays on the general stupidity of Americans. If you do try it out, I suggest you watch your body weight in flash drives with youtube videos on them. ps:theluckdog if you try and remain smart all your credits wont be gone with nothing to show. Gimmicky-site although.

I'm not saying that you'll save money or even get what you want, but just ignore the ads and bid smartly. If you lose money, you're just bidding too often. Take time, and when there's 0.1 seconds left, click "Bid", not all of the time. Then, you'll win. If you want to completely get rid of the ads, just get AdBlock Plus (it's free!). Really, just because you don't win once or twice because of bad bidding tactics doesn't mean the site is bad. They would lose money if people didn't bid that often, so that's the only way that they can keep their site online. In some bids, they lose money, but in most, they win. If you want a greater chance to win a bid, wait until it's not shown on the home page (top bids), and until it's prices drop maybe around $10 from the introductory price on other sites, and wait until new things come out and that one gets less well-known. Then, less people want it, and you get a good deal. I don't work for QuiBids, but I know how they work. Please just listen to me once and try. Don't blame me if anything goes wrong though. Also, you can spend like $5 on photo-sensors, program a second computer, and do a whole lot of stuff to win as shown in the YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Xc7vT9cAB0&feature=related).

Quibids, Beezid, and Bidcactus are all the SAME company. They use fake automated bids to make people waste their purchased bids. It is IMPOSSIBLE to "win" a big prize, only the very RARE small prize.

This site is very misleading and here's why; You purchase credits to bid and so do many others and each time you bid that bid value increases and you bid again. You may get the item for less than its retail price, but you spend a lot more in bids. You are better off buying it online and also saving time from watching these ridiculous auctions. Online companies like this need to be shut down and all those who have rated this site as good are just part of the scam, period!

this site is not a scam or something similar, is 100% real, of course that if your are going with the mind that at the moment that you bid on something you are gonna win it, i can tell u that u're totally wrong, u need to practice and get used to the site, and you are not the only person bidding on the site, there are miilions of other users bidding at the same time so u have to be patient and realize that is not just go a win, it takes time, patience and lots of luck, im not an employee from quibids but i tell u that the site is not fake, i've won an ipod nano last generation so far and i just bid once in while, but you can really get good stuff for really low prices, u just need luck

My father wins 3 prizes a day, every day... although he spends about as much as he earns from the products (ALOT), it is still great fun and definitely possible to win amazing prizes (just won an ipad 2 for 150 bucks). If you don't like the model of the site then don't pay into it...but do not call it a scam or untrustworthy because you lost 30 bucks trying to win something and failed. Additionally, since you can use all the money you spend on bids towards just buying the item at retail, the worst case scenario is that you pay full price for what your bidding on.
