Ist real.com sicher?

This program is pure malware and pure virus. It may download most of the videos you find, but at what price? It monitors your internet usage and sends your download history to its company in order to direct its advertisements more appropriately towards the fools who install this garbage of a program. If you want a program that plays .flv files, install VLC Media player, it is far superior. If you want a program to install videos with and if you are a Firefox user please consider installing the Firefox addon Download Helper for video files and Easy Youtube Video Downloader for audio files.

This used to be a great program. Then they started becoming cheap and greedy. I figured (one year later) I would give it another try. I tried to download it, and my computer blocked multiple viruses from it. This is awful. Do not even bother with real player.

Caution! While I consider Real Player to be safe it also has a built in browser. It is a bare bones browser with no security features. This makes it very insecure so use caution if surfing the web with it. Official websites owned and operated by RealNetworks Inc. *****
