Ist rogers.com sicher?

Rogers is the largest telecommunication provider in Canada, therefore its website and services are safe and reliable. However, the prices and packages are arguably not as I expected to be from the most popular provider in the country. This can be prohibitive, and service disruptions happen more often than expected for such a large provider. They need to improve their plans and include more budget-friendly options. Also, all the plans come with a binding period. It would be great if they add plans without a binding period and it is not just buying a simple sim card

While the website itself is fine, the corperations behind it isn't particularly trustworthy. IMO they are one of the lesser evils, but they still do a variety of less than reputable things. Customer service can be a pain to talk to and isn't extremely helpful. If you setup a service at a particular price, they won't update your plan until you hunt them down even if your plan is far more expensive with worse options than their current plans.

It's a safe site, but Rogers service is absolutely atrocious. I get less than half the internet speed I'm supposed to get, and the connection drops out a few times each day. I'm paying $85/month for this. Too bad I don't have another choice of provider.

Horrible business practices, bait n switch tactics, this company doubled my monthly cable charge from $60.00 to more than $112 without notification, then refused to cancel the service when I asked stating they need a 30 day notice... They pop promotions you never asked then double the fees based on their expiration. Doing business with this monopolistic bunch feels like doing business with the devil, you feel all dirty afterward... I am a client lost forever!

My upload is 40% of what is should be, and its only 20 KiloBYTES per second upload. Its ridiculous how badly us Canadians are cheaped out by these greedy companies. Compared to the US, we have terrible internet. My download speed is great! NOT, its only good late at night, and when its mid-day I get like half of what I should be getting. Also the combo of throttling and capping makes me want to kill myself. Its out of hand and this company is nothing more than a money whore.
