Amazon could be a great platform to sell, you can manage to sell items quickly and it´s fast to list them, BUT it seems that they don't facilitate small sellers or newbies. If you want to sell small amounts or second hands items, amazon will make it impossible to you to do so. **THE BAD** PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER BANKS (PSP) If your bank has no PSP standards, Amazon will not pay you. My extremely legit Finnish/German bank (Holvi) does not have the PSP standar, therefore I will stop using Amazon altogether. I HAVE GOT A PENALTY AS SELLER FOR NO REASON Amazon first decides to give a refund for a seller while he didn´t have the right to get it, cause he didn´t send the item back. Then, they penalize my account saying that I didn´t reply within 48 hours, while I DID reply within 48 hours, I try to contact the amazon customer service, but no answer. CUSTOMER SERVICE SENDING AUTOMATED REPLIES It´s really hard to get in contact with customer support. When I do manage to contact a human, I get template answers that don´t reply to my questions. WILD ACCOUNT SUSPENSIONS My seller account has been suspended several times for no reason. REMOVAL OF LISTED ARTICLES Amazon removes my articles 40% of the time, asking me to do a lengthy verification. This is totally not a way of working for me, I sell mostly second hands times that I have bought myself previously on amazon, so it does not make sense that for each item that I want to sell, to try to get some little money from it, I have to spend half an hour to send them the documentation and list the item over and over. AUTHORIZATION You need ´authorization´ to sell most of the items, I don´t even know how to get that authorization and they tell you it, sometimes, only after you listed the product.\\ They may require authorization even to let you sell one single second-hand article, even if you bought it from amazon previously. AMAZON STOCKAGE After listing about ten products in amazon stock, they ask a lot of info which they are supposed to have already (if the product is dangerous, size, weight...). And finally, they don´t accept the products in their stock. THE SELLER´S FORUM FROM OTHER COUNTRIES IS NOT ACCESSIBLE It´s really annoying that you can´t access posts that interest you if they are not from the Amazon website where you are registered. The most frustrating thing is that you can find them on google search, but you can´t open them. TRANSACTIONS OVERVIEW The list of transaction is everything but intuitive, it is really challenging to get a good pictures of the last operations. The graphic is messy and obsolete. BOTTOM LINE Even if Amazon is the biggest online platform to sell, I will cancel my seller subscription because it´s not interesting for me, I wanted only to resell a small amount if items that I have previously bought for me or for my business. I don´t want to run into hours of work to send documentation and it does not make sense that I should ask for authorization from the manufacturer just to sell one second-hand item.
