Ist stackoverflow.com sicher?

I ask a question with the utmost politeness to these people just to see if something is even possible and I get downvoted to oblivion in the matter of minutes. Don't bother asking your own questions on this sad excuse of a website because every time you do, the mindless users will just downvote you without even reading the -entire post. Effectively useless.

This website does an amazing job of managing the community of programmers using it with their reputation based system. That system not only makes you want to help others but also shows you answers and users you can trust and other you should take with a grain of salt.

Stack Overflow is a community based ask-a-question website. You may find that people are unfriendly but that is because the website is intended for you to ask a question with a sense of knowledge on the topic. The website is not for you to ask someone to program you a web browser and drop you a email once he is done, it is instead for you to state a problem mention what you have tried and try to work with other in a logical manner to find a solution that works for you to take and finish solving the issue.
