Ist stardock.com sicher?

The developers have stopped support and further updates and released a separate program and demand money for it! They actually sell new versions of their software, this is a direct fraud, buying this product I hoped for its support, and not for the fact that in half a year I would use a broken program for which I paid money. I demand that they either return the money to me or give me the next version of the program for free!

DeskScapes8 ... AS ESEMPLE IS JUST REALY REALLY UNSTABLE UNDER WIN 10 X64 BUILD 1903 , IT JUST INVOKE ALWAYS THE EXPLORER.EXE CRASHES EVERYWHERE... I WILL NEVER PAY FOR THESE PIECE OF SHIT TOOLS FOR WINDOWS USSURED :-)

Good site - Owned and maintained by the Stardock corporation Poor customer experience - I used to ObjectDock for free. But now everything is 30-day trialware. Horrible. Potentially unwanted programs - Nagware. Programs nag you after 30-days. The programs also have a chance to break the Operating System if they get to the 'nagware' stage.

Very difficult to uninstall, files like to stick around and cannot be deleted because they are currently active for whatever reason. The control panel uninstall option didn't even have this program listed which should mean that all files are gone. I eventually managed to remove it with Revo Uninstaller.

I have to disagree with many of the negative reviews here. I found them many years ago when I fell in love with Galactic Civilizations 2. They also make software which can completely revolutionize Windows. Some programs also can help to rescue stinky Windows 8(.1) and make it usable again. I should disclose that I soup up computers for a living and I frequently endorse their software- and for good reason. **Edit** No matter how many times I edit this it is showing them as light green. It should be dark green. WOT really has been struggling recently.

I used to dislike their bloated software and I did not trust the company. My opinion is changing of them slowly as I have had a excellent experience with the new start8 menu. I was annoyed they opted me into all their email crap, but I was able to opt out easy enough, though I should not have had to.
