Yet another tech-buying-guide / affiliate-publisher. Yawn. If they really loved you, maybe they should attach less than 59 scripts, 44 third-party domains (of which 24 are untrusted), 7 third-party iFrames, and a partridge-in-a-pear-tree to your browser session. If I want to learn about current tech, I will do it elsewhere.

NB!!!!! SITE SPREADS TROJANS VIA ITS INSTALLER WITHOUT USERS' CONSENT! BY PRETENDING TO PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE YOU THINK...YOU ARE DOWNLOADING! What the crap?!! I was looking for an anti-malware program (8mb on developers site) to... be offered an installer (1,5 mb) by techradar.com which is a malware trojan! Luckily my (paid) Mcafee antivirus program identified it! DO NOT download ANYTHING directly on this site, you will need to work hours to remove and restore MANY viruses! PS. I only registered to the site here to warn users.

I just downloaded audacity from their site, after scanning the relativity small file with virustotal. I found many hits for malware. I will never download anything from these guys again. Whats the point when you have many other download sites. Either they are purposely spreading malware or are just lazy and do not scan their user's uploads. Either way its not safe to download from here.

When I trusted this site, I was glad I canceled that download when I did. I was downloading my usual eLecta Live Screen recorder after a reinstall of windows, when there was a strange program on my screen. It was from the TechRadar downloader! I was shocked to find it's external downloader existing, I then left them a little "Why I canceled the download" message. I basically told them "I just want my goddamn video recorder software, not a trojan, damnit!" And that was that. The end. Kids, Never trust anything that windows gives you a pop up for if it has "Downloader" in the name.

I don't understand why this site is mark green. The server my be located in England but this is a known German site that attempts to down load MALWARE AND OR VIRUSES. My Webroot virus scanner click in just in time to stop this file. All domains and URLs listed on this website should be considered as dangerous. Any of downloadable files could be harmful to your computer.

Tried to download ***** from this site and ended up not getting the program but rather, did get several German (or Danish) shortcuts to ***** and other shopping sites installed on my computer. Still trying to get rid of them all. Won't use this site again. Beware!
