Spesso gli operatori del call center mentono spudoratamente o per ignoranza o per dolo al fine di spingere gli utenti a comprare servizi, l'azienda poi si limita a dire "non è vero", quindi non rispondendo personalmente degli errori degli operatori, ma dà per scontato che nessuno dei suoi operatori abbia mai detto nulla di errato.
