The site looks kind of fishy and is home to a lot of adds that could potentially lead to malware. I've also heard some stories about the "Subscriptions" that you have to pay for after you've downloaded ever so much data. I have no idea as to why you would get a subscription to a potentially illegal site but if you decide to for whatever reason, there are some people who claim to have been given a year long subscription instead, meaning they have to pay that amount as well. Personally, i wouldn't use it.

This site used to be great back in the day now it just seems like they have money on their mind. Links to Malware and adult video games. People pimping YouTube channels. Last time I looked the entire site was built around a community of people uploading and downloading stuff for free. Do not try to question this in the forums you will be treated like garbage you may even get the boot. Forum moderators are a joke pretty much a buddy system now all the elite separate them selves with different color names. Buddy system let’s you pimp your YouTube page but if you are a regular joe user you can not even attach a photo that helps out someone. The download service is FireDrop that installs Malware on your computer or links you to adult video game sites.I am glad that the site is being cracked down on when you try to make money off of copyright material you should get shut down. I recently seen a forum post about why are there is hardly anyone on the site anymore duh. Also they claim that you can get a free subscription if you upload enough stuff good luck with that first you will have to spend $$$ to do that. Greed is the root of all evil.

A lot of the other reviews seem to be getting downvotes. I don't know why, seeing as how most of their concerns are quite reasonable. I'm going to try to cover as many bases as I can in my own, for the sake of hopefully providing a review that other WOT users can count on. ROMs and ISO's are somewhat of a legal grey area. It's not nearly as much of a concern as some would tell you, as evidenced by the fact that Nintendo and a few other corporations are the only ones who are really even concerned by it. Most people who are looking for these things simply want to experience some nostalgia, or to try out the game before they buy it on places like Amazon or ebay. Because of this, most major companies don't see it as a threat to their sales, or see it as a minimal threat at worst. However, it's still sketchy enough to the degree that you'll want to look away if you're squeamish about that sort of thing. But let's say you still want to come here and download a ROM. In that case, you'll want to crack out your browser with as many security and privacy extensions as you can. AdBlockers, locations redirectors, cookie eliminators, you name it. This is always true to an extent with any Emulation website, but this one is a tad bit more sketchy even compared to most. If you are using Mozilla's Firefox, then you have a wide array of options. While both Firefox and Chrome are both open-source. Firefox has much more of a community built around it's extensions. All you need to do is go to the Add-On page, and there are various ways to access the the Add-Ons section of the mozilla website from there. If you are using Chrome, then what you can get from the Chrome Store is much more limited. You will generally have to find a lot of privacy extensions elsewhere across the web. The best thing you can do for yourself at this website is to install an AdBlocker at the very least. There are certain scenarios in which the website will ask you to purchase a subscription. Some are saying that once you upload a specific amount of data to the website, they force you to purchase it before you can upload more. I did not create an account(for obvious reasons), so I cannot confirm or deny this. I personally have not gotten that request when trying to download a ROM, but others are making that claim. So it may vary on a case-by-case basis. Either way, if you get this request, the obvious answer is a clear cut NO. The website making money off of downloading or uploading what technically counts as someone else's intellectual property is certainly legally questionable at best. Especially so when given the fact that some have said that they accepted for a month's subscription and was given(and thus forced to pay for) a year's subscription instead. I would question why they accepted in the first place, but that's a different discussion in and of itself. The ads are also a huge problem. Some of them are suspicious on their own. If you are here on a low-end PC to download a SNES rom and such, I encountered so many ads on a single page(had my adblocker turned off for testing) that I can only stress concerns that your browser may lag out because all of the ads are taking so much memory out of your computer. Maybe I was just unlucky and received more than most others would. But I doubt it. Any free downloading website obviously needs some way to keep the cash flowing. Some are simply okay with keeping the website running, but others are tossing as many ads as possible for the sake of maximizing profits alone. This site is a case of the latter. Don't waste your breath asking for help on the forums. Even if you give the service critism, most pof the other users will simply fanboy for it regardless of whether your critisism was constructive or not. Overall, I would recommend going to a different website if you are looking to emulate. At the time of writing, I would personally recommend EmuParadise. But that's just one guy's opinion.

Distributes legally iffy content, shows annoying ads. Does what it says on the tin.

Warez site that tries to make you pay for a premium account. There are links to my website on this site, and I have disabled them using nginx.conf, and they will now bring up a warning page.

I guess it's alright? The paid services are bullshit, and the legality of it all is definitely in a grey area. They have a DMCA page, but upon inspection on the lumen database, they've received multiple DMCAs'... and the pages that they're being told to take down are still there. On the other hand, the downloads are clean (despite the service used to get those downloads being a load of total dick), and there are a shit ton of mods on the forums. However, and I think this goes without saying, DON'T go on the forums. If you do, prepare to be marked as a "troublemaker" and "delinquent" for making LEGITIMATE FUCKING COMPLAINTS. Overall, is it good? Eh, maybe. If you're an elite legal Larry, you're bias has already been set because of the name alone (because you're an elite legal Larry), but if you're looking to get an old game that isn't sold or available for sale anywhere else, give it a try... but at a caution. Stay for the downloads, but run like hell away from the forums.

TheIsoZone is a great place to find .iso files for old games that may no longer be on sale by it's official developers and/or publishers. Unfortunately, sometimes users may upload newer games that could possibly be illegal to download, but, on the plus side, the owners literally have a page dedicated to requesting take downs on any upload. Oh, and one last thing, some users have also uploaded games that are beyond inappropriate for children so... be careful. Sadly, I got a blue browser screen (from my internet provider) the last time I visited this website so... be careful, it may not happen to you, but if it does, god help you.

Led me to a download site that requires me to download via popups. The download file button does not work until you log in and subscribe. I just want the file, no thanks. All this a waste of time after I can't download it at all!!!

This site is a nice site if you're looking for old games that you can't really get any more. That said, I would only recommend getting the games you already have. One last thing that should be noted that makes this site a bit wrong: you can get illegal iso's, which I do not recommend getting... 'less you want no internet! Also, keep an adblocker ready as the ads here are very fishy, and if you can't get ahold of one, tough luck. The community can also be VERY dangerous, so you should be careful when observing forums. One last thing to remember before visiting this site: as I said up there, I would only recommend getting a game if you already own it and may need a new copy.

Em um de seus links avast acusa o JS:redirect-bww (adw)

Starts downloading a .exe file without prompt.
2
At cloudstore.es, lots of fake download buttons await you to download their malware so use an ad-blocker.
3
Eh, the waiting is worth it. The site has quite a load of games, but considering these are rom files, I suggest you own the game first. Either way, it's a great site for roms.

this site is just scam! if you buy a premium service form theisozone.com on ***** u got betrayed and have to pay a year every month. even if you just signed up 1 month. i also tried to explain this on their forum but i got banned and traded like... very bad experience

Site appears to be safe. Please have anti virus ready. Also own the game you are trying to download, or at least have owned it in the past.

I have used the website for sometime never got a virus off it.Maybe I'm just lucky my advice is to have a real time protection enabled just in case.
