Completely safe. It's a little pushy asking for donations, but that's kind of the purpose of the site, so.... As others have noted, the 1-stars seem purely politically motivated. All it does is help facilitate voting, no matter which party.

This site is fine. I have noticed that sites associated with more progressive and/or socialist politics are often noted as "unsafe." Seems as if something is off about that.
