When you read carefully, it tells you on the home page that you are joining a safelist so you know to use a second business account for that. Start a new gmail. It only takes 5 minutes! MrGoodGuy69, you hit the nail right on the head! Safelists can have very useful stuff too! Janis Dolan, like you said, you can opt-out if you want to, so it's not spam. Spam is when you receive emails from someone you don't know and there is no opt-out option or even a return address. (Or it's someone else's address that's been harvested!) Join this site! You won't be disappointed!

This is not spam. Some people don't know what spam actually is. But this is a useful business opportunity site. You can opt out of it if you don't want it. If you have joined a mailing list, you might want to deactivate or unsub from this list. I don't know any reason someone might call this spam, except to be malicious, or had their own agenda. It's alright by me.

If you sign up, be prepared to be bombarded by spam! They send you email from their "members" on great tips on how to... e.g. build a $2,000,000 "empire". For example, the email comes from "Jeff Lawson" or "Kathy Smith". If you look closely, you'll see the email is actually from "members@viralhosts.com" and is not at all from who it appears to be from. Many of the emails you receive are scams. A word to the wise, don't sign up.
