Wowee what an experience, inexhaustible memes of only the most rare extraction. As a leading expert on memes, this site is invaluable to me. Anybody who claims to be a meme practitioner in the field should have this bookmarked (indeed, on the bookmarks toolbar, not the bookmarks menu, yes, it's that important). Reddit? 4 chan? Don't make me laugh, amateur memes for amateur people, that's what I say, if you want to be on the cutting edge this is the place to be. There is always great discussion going on; is cardcaptor sakura shit? Will russia restore byzantium in the end times? Will Liquid ever become mod? The ride never ends.

Volafile is a file sharing site that does not allow file sharing half the time because one of the moderators (Kakk) has a feud with some user who thus attacks the site. The feud is over said moderator using the n-word a lot. When file sharing works, there is a lot of porn and sometimes viruses, but also some nice music and movies and funny files and even memes. Volafile also was one of the sites where the hacked pictures of female actors were posted. Disgusting! But the users are to blame for that, not the site itself.

Using the site exposes your IP address to mods who are known to post them publicly. Moderators can see everything you do, and will not hesitate to share your activity publicly in the site's "main" room. Nothing is private, despite claims made in the site's Privacy Policy. If you rub a mod the wrong way they can and sometimes WILL leverage their powers to target you. The site has a long history of use by 4channers to distribute child pornography, "jailbait" pics, leaked celebrity nudes, and copyrighted recordings of camgirl streams. Since the rooms these occur in are not visible to the casual visitor, it should not impact their overall experience, but the fact that this activity goes on raises ethical questions about the site. Site is still useful as a temporary file host if you don't need files to last longer than 48 hours. Just don't upload anything too personal or identifying.

Certainly an interesting site, and has the potential to be invaluable. Unfortunately, its purported anonymity and quick filesharing renders it an easy method for conducting illegal activities, such as the distributions of warez, copyright infringed material, and child pornography. It is also a place where malware and other malicious software can be uploaded for download by unsuspecting users. For these reasons, among others, I rate this site poorly. The site itself is safe and sounds like an amazing site, but I fear it is easily prone for abuse and will soon shut down as a result.

Good site to share files and chat at the same time. Also, the site protects your anonymity and privacy. Just another reason why it is good. Creating new rooms helps with the spam and virus issues. Now, only those who you give the url to will be able to see.
